Most viewed posts widget not available

From where do I get this widget “Most Viewed Posts (in the past one month)” in my sidebar. Like sulz.wordpress.com has in that blog.
The good part about it is that it also shows the number of hits that individual post received which helps us identify which posts are being liked more by our readers.

Great idea! I put one on my blog, too, although I’m not sure how long it will stay there. May be too much maintenance.
Now wouldn’t it be nice to have it link automatically to the top posts list?

gee, he asks me for a favour and i have to personally deliver it to his email. the nerve!
for the benefit of those reading, i use the < A HREF=”URL HERE” > < /a > tag. don’t forget to close the spaces in between.
it’s not much maintenance unless your top posts fluctuate a lot – so far my top five posts are pretty fixed. but the number of views can be quite high maintenance as that would fluctuate a lot.

A short cut to that, instead of adding up all over your posts counts, would be Dashboard -> Blog Stats -> Top Posts -> the 30 Days link. When you get on the page, do a view source and copy and paste the top 10 links out of the source. Looks like you would have to do a search and replace though to change the https to http though.

Took some slight tweaking but I did it. Left off the page views, though. I’m always on the lookout for ways to help my visitors. Thank you for the wonderful idea.

Depends on your browser. In IE, click on View along the top and they’ll be an option to view called “Source”. In Netscape, it’s View and then Page Source.
aishahdhorat, we don’t have access to your Dashboard so we can’t tell you what your counts are. It’s different for everybody.

Does that for me in IE. Doing a forced reload of the page will help. At least it does for me.

I note that you only became a member on July 28th according to your profile so is it possible for you to to narrow down just how long “for ages” means to you?
Also I notice you still haven’t revealed what kind of brwoser you are using. This is essential information that anyone trying to help you on the forum must be given.
If it happens to be a firefox browser then you use ctrl + U to view your page source code.
And as drmike says if it happens to be IE, click on View along the top and they’ll be an option to view called “Source”.
In Netscape, it’s View and then Page Source.
Is your browser mozilla, opera or safari or flock or ….?To make a long story short only sysadmin have backend access to your blog. You can contact them by using the “feedback” button on the top right hand corner of your dashboard. Or, if you prefer, you can email to [email protected].
