Motif: hyperlink colors

  • Unknown's avatar

    .entry-content {
    is the area in which I want to make all links – link, visited, hover and active – the one color.
    I can’t. I’ve tried everything; although I must confess that if Firebug hadn’t turned up with a different UI I might’ve found the correct code. But I have no idea how to use Firebug any more, which leaves me with the Inspect Element (Q), and that’s what I’ve tried me best to do.
    Help, then, please?

    Hello, try something like this:

    .entry-content a:link {
    	color: #000000; // your color here
    }
    .entry-content a:visited {
    	color: #000000; // your color here
    }
    .entry-content a:hover {
    	color: #000000; // your color here
    }
    .entry-content a:active {
    	color: #000000; // your color here
    }

    Dear totally unpronounceable:
    THANK-YOU!
    I had a sort of version of that, you know – I just didn’t have it RIGHT. As to why, whose nose? – I’m an idiot.
    Why do you have a nick like that? – are you a retiring kind of bloke?

    Yay. Glad it works! From what you mentioned before looks like you were really close to getting to the right CSS code.

    And about my nickname, it’s actually just my real name with vowels removed :)

    Lemme see …
    Hafiz …
    oh, the surname could be bloody ANYTHING!
    But at least I can address you by name, now.
    THANK-YOU, Hafiz! :-)
