Motif: reblog double image
-
I hope there’s some way I can get rid of the same bloody image appearing on both my description of the reblog and the reblog itself … It looks absolutely awful.
I would be most grateful for some help in getting rid of one of them …The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Being totally unprepared to tolerate my blog’s looking like a joke, I have removed the offending reblog.
This is awfully silly.
There’s a post I want to use: the writers want me to use it: I can’t use it unless I want an entire screen taken up by the same image reproduced twice.
Can nobody help with this in theory, at least??? -
I would have to be able to see the post. Do you still have it on your site as a draft post by chance?
-

Rich …? I’ll try again soon, yes?
Not tomorrow (it’s my four-month post tomorrow!), but the weekend?
And when you’re next on duty, will you check to see if I’ve sent off another blast to the Forums, please? – in spite of any reluctance you may feel … [grin] -
I wanted to take a look and see what was causing the double image to show up (sorry this help request got lost).
Can you give me a link to the post you were trying to reblog so that I can do some testing?

That’s the site and that’s the article. To fully inform you: I reblogged it together with my usual rubbish kind of intro. I thought that maybe if I’d written nothing at all but just reblogged, maybe I wouldn’t’ve got the double image?
But wasn’t prepared to try … -

BUMMER.
Have just realised that that was then …
and the this is now is a different theme.
So you prolly won’t find nuffing.
Sighh … -
I just did a reblog of that and see what you mean about the double image. The image at the top is the featured image for the original post, and then the image gets included in the post itself. What you can do in those instances is to open that reblog post in your post editor and remove the featured image and then you will have only the image in the reblogged content itself.

GOOD TO KNOW, Rich! – really good. Because on the very infrequent occasions I re-blog it’s something that’s important to me; and I don’t want infuriating rubbish causing me to remove the whole thing in a rage, as I did last time.
Worth yer weight in roubles, you are.
Oh. Sorry. They’re plunging, I hear.
So much for Sochi. -
You are welcome. I’m going to talk with the developers about this as I think something can be done to prevent this type of thing.

I just previewed one of the new themes.
It was activated.
Now I have to start almost from the beginning with the CSS. -
Sorry. Panic button.
For the first time realized I can get it all back from the revisions list.
JESUS CHRIST! – but I’m stupid.
Sorry, Rich. -
I chatted with some teammates and I have posted this as a bug. I can’t give a estimate of when it will be addressed, but I will post back here when I find out anything.
