Motif Theme

    I just purchased Web Hosting from GoDaddy and downloaded WordPress. I have a website from the past at wordpress.com. I like the Motif theme but can’t seem to find it now on my new site at danielaslater.ca.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com themes cannot be used on the open source WordPress software that you’re now using from GoDaddy, as the two versions of WordPress work differently and themes for one are not compatible with themes from the other.

    The Motif theme has since been retired on WordPress.com. If it’s not listed when you search for it under the Themes tab of your site’s dashboard, and it’s not listed at https://wordpress.org/themes/, then it’s not available for use on a self-hosted WordPress site either.
