Motif theme grid pages only show part of picture from page

  the grid pages layout is meant to show a picture, title and excerpt from several pages and showcase them on one page. It takes the featured image from the page you want to showcase, however when it uses the featured image it only shows a part of the image in the grid box which makes my images in the box not represent what i want. Anyway around this? Its a bit useless if i cant have the image i need in the grid box

  I see one grid on your home page which seems to be showing the scaled down featured image. I don’t see any cropping so I presume you resolved this yourself.
