Motif theme "Home" page

I want a full-width blog. Clean background front page with nothing on it. I switched out themes for a blog with several years of posts.
    Problems:
    1. The menu automatically sticks a “Home” page button up at the top. There’s no “Home” listed as a page in pages. ALL existing posts appear to live on this page. (The posts were created as “New Post”, not Pages.)
► I can’t find a way to transfer all posts to a specific page.
► The “Home” thing is the front page and no way to get rid of it.

I can live with it, except that there’s no way to make that automatic “Home” page full-width. It’s two-column and I cannot remove “Archives” from right-hand column.

How do I move 6 pages of posts?
How can I get around this “Home” page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
