Motif theme: remove widget borders

  Hi,
  I’ve purchased the customize upgrade for the Motif theme. Had a bit of fun adjusting already, but am such an ignoramus! How do I remove the borders of the widgets in my main side bar? They are a light grey at the moment, but I would like to go for an even cleaner look, so would like to remove them altogether. Already searched the forum, but again, am such an ignoramus.

  Solved it. Took this ignoramus ages, am bleary-eyed from looking at code which meant zilch to me, but managed to find it :-)
  For those newbies like me who want to remove the box shadows from the widgets in the main side bar:

  .sidebar-widget-area .widget {
  	background-color: #fff;
  	box-shadow: none;
  }
