mouse hover mosaic image gallery

    Hello,
    I would like my titles/descriptions images to be displayed on mouse hover like described in these tutorials :

    Streamline Your Photos With New Tiled Galleries

    Bloc Mosaïque d’images

    However, my titles/descriptions are not displayed on my mosaic image gallery on mouse hover.
    I did add titles and descriptions to my images through the menu media-> modify

    How can I access this functionality?

    The images need to have captions, not titles, for them to appear on hover.

    I added titles, descriptions and legend which are the 3 options I have in media -> image -> modify.
    Yes I have added a caption but it is not displayed on hover

    I don’t see any images in your gallery with a saved caption. They have titles, but no captions, those are two separate fields.

    Are you sure that you specifically saved captions for them?

    Yes I am sure, I have put screenshots on my home page so you can see by yourself. I have put both titles AND captions , using both

    media -> image -> modify
    and using

    edit gallery -> edit

    Hi there,

    Captions do not appear on hover for galleries created via a tiled gallery block in the block editor. That feature only exists for galleries created in the classic editor.

    Our developers are still deciding whether or not this feature will be added to the gallery blocks as well.

    The block editor uses completely different code from the classic editor to create galleries, so it’s not a simple feature to add, and we cannot make any promises that it will be added.
