Mouse Tracking for Academic Research – Online Experiments and WordPress.org
-
I have created a fictional website to resemble an online review platform for an academic experiment on deception and online reviews. I would like to be able to track participant browsing behavior (page visits, time spent on each page, click through rates, heat maps, etc.) using a mouse tracking software. Because its for academic research, I would like to track browsing at the individual IP address level.
Are any of your familiar on how I could do this? Should I create a page on the org site? If so, what do I need to hoast the site on my laptop? Any other thoughts?
