  Hi, I’m on premium plan + I don’t have much WP experience (have been using blogger for years).
  I’d like to add mouseover image fade effect on specific images and I’ve been wondering if that could be done by adding css / or customizing html without plugins?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Is it possible to add the effect to masonry or gallery?

  No, this is not directly possible via CSS so won’t be possible without plugins or custom code under the Business Plan.
