Code for mouseover of images is easy. But HTML snippets doesn’t work with image mouseover code… None of the “Hover Effects” plug ins have image mouseover capability… just a lot of flips and turns and zooms and shit like that…. Pasting the code into the text area of the Visual Composer or just the text area of the Page without the visual composer works in preview then loses the code on publish… This should have been a really really simple job that is KILLING ME !!!! Please someone offer any possible solution short of self pointed weaponry!! Thanks for any suggestions… Signed… Going Crazy but mercifully it’s a short trip to begin with

What code exactly are you trying to use? Please type the code between backticks in the forum so it’s not stripped out.
Note that JavaScript code is not allowed on WordPress.com at all unless you have the Business Plan, and we also strip out some HTML tags. Most CSS3 should work here, though we don’t fully support all the new animation effects either.
To use plugins on WordPress.com requires the Business Plan. As you only have a free site with us you might be referring to a site using the open source WordPress software instead. In that case the best place to get help with this is the self-hosted forums:
