move a blog to a new user account

  I have multiple blogs under my pen name. Can I change the account information for one of them to use my real name?

  Hello there,
  Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account. No matter how many blogs are created under any username account there will be only one gravatar and one primary blog that can be linked to that username.

  To disassociate blogs log out of WordPress.com and use another email address to create another username account while logged out. Then use the process to transfer the blog(s) of your choice to your new username account.

  thanks, timethief. 90% of that worked like a charm. However, I have not seen a new follower sign up since I made the change seven hours ago. Attempts to follow from my wife’s computer fail, with a message to try again with a valid email address. Did I miss something? Emails and comments are coming through just fine – everything but new follows.

  After a lag of several hours, emails announcing new followers have resumed, including at least one delayed message from the ‘blackout’ hours. I think it might be okay.
