move a domain from one word press blog to another

  I shut down my original blog (rebeccahudsonhomes.wordpress) after i created a seprate word press blog (beckyhudsonhomes.wordpress). The old blog was set up with my purchased domain name(www.beckyhudsonhomes.com). I deleted the first account, but when I try to link the domain name to my updated blog I get a message indicating that the domain name i already (or still) in use by another word press blog. I need help please?
