Move blog posts from front page

  Hello,

  I am a relative novice and am trying to move my blog posts from the home page to a separate category on the menu, called ‘blog’
  I changed the settings in ‘reading’ to create a static home page and for blog posts to be posted to ‘blog’, but it is not working – the posts still go to the home page. Can anyone help with this? The theme is ‘Sundance’.
