Move comments from one post to another?

Is there any way to move comments from one post (or page) to another? I have a page that has my representatives on it. There are a couple of comments on the page that I would like to move to my new guestbook page and then turn off comments on the representatives page. Is there any way to do that?

nope, i don’t think so. i did it by writing a comment at the post i want it to be, linking the comment to the original post whr the comment first appeared, and did kind of a A wrote blabla and I replied blablabla…

I copy the comment, url, and all that to Notepad, signout of the blog and refill in the information on the Posts it should have gone on, deleteing the old comment afterwards. I signout so that I can enter the information for User, website, and email address instead of WP thinking that it’s me.

That’s the way I’m doing it and I have MySQL access on my blog. Still quicker that way instead of digging through the database.

I did that for my blog too when I transferred to WP. The thing is, though, the time and date the comment was originally posted cannot be replicated. But otherwise all is good.
