Move domain

  Hi,

  I can’t change my domain settings for a domain I own. (It is not the below blog url, but like anothername.com)
  I have my domain settings to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and so on. I deleted it from wordpress to move it but I can’t change it at my registrars pages. I understand I should have done that before I deleted it, but paying 13$ just to be able to access it in wordpress seems a bit dumb.

  Any clues?

  Hi there,

  What is the domain, please? Your account has never owned a domain on WordPress.com. You used to have a domain mapping upgrade for the domain, cirrussurfer.com, but that domain is registered with Tucows domains. If you want to change the name servers, it needs to be done on their end.

  Hi,

  Ok, IC. That’s the one. I just can’t change the dns records. Did contact them, awaiting response. Thought perhaps wordpress could and did prevent that change.

  No, this can only be done at your domain provider. We couldn’t block it even if we wanted to :)
