Move domain control from one WordPress account to another WordPress account

My colleague currently manages our domain. We would like to transfer control of that to my WordPress account. How do we do this?

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.
You can transfer blog ownership of any blog and upgrades to another WordPress.COM username account and associated email address by making them an official user of the blogs ie. an Admin first, and then using this process https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
