move domain to wix

  i’ve just bought my wordpress domain and now i’m trying to move it to wix however when i try to transfer my domain to another regitrar, it says ‘It is only possible to transfer a domain after 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived’…

  is there another way to move my domain to wix other than waiting 60 days for this 60 day lock to end? alternatively, it there another way to move my domain to wix without plugins?

  Hi @joannapatalot, no worries. You can update the name servers for now, like so:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

  You’ll need to find out from Wix what nameservers to use:
  https://support.wix.com/en/article/connecting-a-domain-to-the-wix-name-servers

  That way the domain will start working there soon after you update those settings (allow several hours for them to take). Then you can transfer the registration when the 60 day waiting period is up.
