Move email subscribers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org blog
-
Hi there,
I’d like to move my email subscribers from my old wordpress.com blog to my newly self-hosted blog. I’ve transferred all of the content, but this is the last part of the puzzle remaining. I’ve activated the Jetpack on the .org side.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

Hi Alyssa – I’m happy to take care of this for you, but currently your Jetpack connection is on URL http://www.mysequinedlife.com/MSLblog/
You’ll need to make sure that Jetpack is connected to WordPress.com with your actual domain name. Otherwise you’ll have problems later with links in your emails to subscribers.
Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the Jetpack page in your site’s dashboard
2. Click the “Connected to WordPress.com” button in order to disconnect
3. Make sure that the domain name mysequinedlife.com is displayed in your browser address bar and in the Site URL field under General -> Settings
4. Go back to the Jetpack page in your dashboard and click “Connect to WordPress.com”Please let me know when you’ve updated your Site URL and reconnected Jetpack, and I can transfer your subscribers for you.

I’ve disconnected Jetpack and have confirmed mysequinedlife.com is in the Site URL field in Settings, however when I try to connect again it only gives me the option of connecting to the /MSLblog URL. I see /MSLblog up in the browser address bar when I’m in the dashboard. I installed wordpress into a subdirectory, and not the root – could that be complicating things?
