I changed the domain name of my wordpress, and all of my followers are gone. Is it possible to move my followers to the new site, if so, how?
Thanks in advance! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
There are two different methods to do so dependant on where the new website is hosted. Please review the following, and refer to the section that applies to you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/
For more information on the difference between the two please check out this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org.
Hope this helps,
Cheers

Hi victoria901106,
It would be great to the following:
- The domain you were originally using (or want to move followers from)
- The address of your new site
If you let me know, I’ll be happy to take a look.

Thank you!
My old site: victorialovesyifan.wordpress.com

Hi there,
It’s not necessary to move your followers in this case, because they have been move do the new site. This happens automatically during an address change, and everyone who was following your old address are now following the new one.
If you look at your site’s feed in the Reader you’ll see it showing 178 followers there.
But it appears some of the data may have been mixed up, so the followers are not showing for the site in your site admin and stats. That’s something our developers will need to fix, so I’ve put in a request for that. We’ll let you know once this is fixed.

Oh, in that case, thank you for your information!
I did see 178 followers when I first changed the site’s name, but they disappeared after a few days. -
Right, I’ve heard back from our developers, and they’re investigating the issue, but we cannot give a timeline on when it will be fixed as they first need to find what’s causing this.
We understand your frustration, but we believe that while your follower count is displaying incorrectly your posts will still be shared with your subscribers and our developers hope to have a resolution for this issue in the future.
