move followers

    Hello,
my name is Julia Seidlitz and I have started lately to use my own Domain/Website passion4streetstyle.com. Before I used a simple template from wordpress with the adress passion4streetstyle.wordpress.com And there is where the problem starts. The following situation occured: I tried to move the followers from my old website passion4streetstyle.wordpress.com to the new one (passion4streetstyle.com) I could migrate all the wordpress followers (in total 15) but not all the others (in total 366) . You can see the counter on thew first side passion4streetstyle.wordpress.com I couldn’t really figure out the problem, cause as according, it should be possible to migrate all the followers no matter where they come from, isn’t it?! Can you please help me in this matter?! I would be greatful, if you get back to me as soon as possible, cause I want my website to run from now on. I’m really looking forward to hear from you. Best regrends Julia

    Hi Julia!

It looks like all of your followers transferred successfully. However, our followers count includes your Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr followers. You can see the break down if you visit Dashboard > Site Stats and scroll down to the “Totals, Followers, & Shares” module.

    https://passion4streetstyle.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats

You can see here that you had 345 Facebook friends, 18 Tumblr followers and 3 Twitter followers included in your totals.

Let me know if you have more questions about that!

    Hi there,
Just a note for you. The guide is found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/

On your self-hosted WordPress site, install the Jetpack plugin, connect it to WordPress.com with your WordPress.com username, and make sure the Subscriptions module is activated. Then you can follow the steps outlined in the Subscription Migration Tool guide. http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/
