Move followers from .org to .com

I would like to move followers from my WordPress.com site to the identical WordPress.org site and discontinue use of the .com site. (carabrookins.wordpress.com –> carabrookins.com/cgi/wp ) I believe I understand how to move the content, but have been told I must contact WordPress associates to move the followers. But attempts to contact simply redirect to post in forums… where I have already spent hours. So… here I am again!

However, the follow button is not available under widgets on the .org site. How do I move this feature over now that I have the existing followers moved?

Regarding installing a Follow button on your WordPress.org site, please take a look at the following:

There are a few options to add the button to the new site.Since I don’t have access to your self-hosted site, if you need specific instruction, you’ll want to visit http://wordpress.org/support/ directly.
