Move followers from wordpress.com to .org. HELP!

I was wondering if someone could help me do this? Maybe a moderator? I started a new self hosted site on wordpress.org but I don’t want to lose my almost 200 email subscribers from my wordpress.com site…I saw on another post that some moderators were able to transfer the subscribers over to the self hosted site. Please let me know if this is possible! Thanks so much!!

I have one other question, if you don’t mind…on my .org dashboard it shows that I have my 187 WordPress.com subscribers and my 3 EMAIL subscribers for a total of 190 subscribers…now when I post something new on my blog will only the 3 email subscribers know? Or will all the people following the blog know? How does that work?

WordPress.com subscribers are folks with WordPress.com accounts who are definitely following you via the WordPress.com Reader and may have chosen to receive emails too.
Email subscribers are folks with no WordPress.com account.
All were transferred, so they’ll still consume your posts via whichever method they prefer.

Okay just wondering because on my “Site Stats” where it says ‘Subscribers’ it only says 4…but then when I click on it it shows the total 190 followers that you moved over for me…so I wasn’t sure if only those 4 are going to get my new blog posts or if the total 190 will be getting updates as well
