move followers to self hosted site

  Hello,

  I have recently moved to a self hosted site but when I exported my blog, none of my subscribers came with me. I have their comments, but they do not receive my posts. Could you please help?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi again,

  All posts and forums I have read tell me that the lovely happiness engineers will transfer my subscribers for me. Is this correct because to be honest, this is doing my head in – I have been trying to move my readers for 2 days now. Thanks.

  It was always http://www.scrambledwisdom.com but it was hosted on wordpress.com. I now manage (not very well, clearly) the site on blue host. I purchased a new template through Mojo Marketplace and exported my site over. However, when I did, all comments from subscribers came through but not the actual subscribers. Noone gets the blog anymore.

  Hi there,

  Please note that scrambledwisdom.com is a domain. Please note that a domain name is a name used to identify a particular website on the internet. Your site’s domain name is like your mailing address. Your domain exists independently of your site, so even if you cancel your domain, all the content on your site remains unchanged. Therefore, if anything were to happen to your domain (for e.g. you forget to renew it), you can still find all your content at the site with “.wordpress.com” at the end of it.

  You can find more information about domains here.

  So please let me know the address that you domain scrambledwisdom.com was mapped to. In your WordPress.com account I see two sites:

  leftofkitchen.wordpress.com

  and

  scrambledwisdom.wordpress.com

  Which subscribers would you like moved to your self-hosted site?
