Move from Blogger to WordPress on Local Server?

    I’m planning to move my blog content from blogger to a self hosted wordpress blog. I am starting out by playing with my blog design on a local server on my computer. Is it possible for me to move my blogger content over to my wordpress blog on a local server BEFORE I go live with my wordpress blog online? (If this is possible, I would like to try it and make sure that my content fits well into the way I have formatted my theme, before I make anything live online or go ahead and purchase hosting).

    I have a LOT of posts to transfer (around 1500) and if it is possible to bring them over on a local server and make sure comments transfer and that I can do some redirects BEFORE putting the whole thing online, hosted, that would be great! (but I am a little new to all of this and trying to find out if that’s even do-able)

    It seems like you need help with your WordPress.ORG install.

    This is WordPress.COM forum and only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM and not elsewhere.

    Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
