move header image and delete side menu

  Hello,

  Still new to this and would love more help!

  How do I move my header image up so that there is less space between the image and my top menu?

  Additionally, how do I delete the side (right) menu. It is the same as the top menu and makes the page a bit cluttered.

  To move the header up, you can add the following.

  #header {
  padding-bottom: 0;
  }

  To move it up further, you can adjust the bottom margin in the following.

  #main-nav ul {
  margin-bottom: 20px;
  }

  To remove the left sidebar, go to Appearance > Widgets and in the “Homepage: (Left)” sidebar section, remove the “pages” widget, or if you want the left sidebar, you can put in whatever widgets you desire. Same with the “Homepage: (Right)” sidebar. The content will then widen out to take up the space vacated by the sidebar(s).
