Move header up to top of page
-
I am going crazy trying to figure out how to move the header image so that it is all the way up at the top? There is way too much white space there right now. I do have the CSS upgrade. Any help would be appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. We need a link to the site you are talking about.
2. Do you have the Custom Design Upgrade?

@thesacredpath you are always a huge help to me!! Hopefully we can figure this out. I have a follow up question but don’t want to overwhelm you so I’ll wait to hear back!

I’m not seeing any header on that site at all.
Are you wanting to move the content area up to the very top and not have any navigation or a site title?
-
There is a large image right now that you should be able to see – it’s the logo, but it’s got a ton of white space above it so I’m not sure if I did it correctly. What I want is to have a nice large banner on top, similar to what I saw here: http://thepatternedplate.wordpress.com/category/kitchengear-loves/

If you want to get rid of some of the whitespace between the logo/header and the line below it, edit the bottom padding here:
#header { padding-bottom: 50px; } -
You are amazing!! Two follow up questions, if you don’t mind. Can I bring the line below the header image up closer to it – to reduce that white space.
Also, is there a way to not show catagories within the posts?
-
One request: On CSS related issues, please post in the CSS forum. That is the first place the CSS helpers look and if it is posted in one of the main forums then it might be a lot longer before you get help.

Oh I apologize, I myself went through the CSS forum trying to figure this out. Can I move it over?
-
My last questions are:
1. Can I remove the catagories so they don’t show on the posts? I was able to do that for the date/time.
2. Can I add a twitter feed directly into a post by emebeding it?
3. I want to insert a form into one of the posts on the front page but every time I try it isn’t showing up. -
I’ve given you the stuff to move the line up. On the categories, this will get rid of it on the main page.
.box .categories { display: none; }Do you also want to get ride of the date/author/category on the single post pages (after you click on a title)?
-
Let me explain the twitter question, ideally I’d like our twitter feed to show up in the post box that is called From our Soapbox but I’m not sure it’s possible.
-
@thesacredpath – yes, I would like to remove the date/author/category on the single post pages too.
