Move hosting from SiteGround to WordPress

  I have a site on SiteGround but I want to transfer it to WordPress and give the client ownership of the website.

  Hi there!

  You can use the built-in WordPress export/import tools to move a site to WordPress.com from another hosting provider:

  https://transferto.wordpress.com/

  However, to use a custom domain you will need one of our paid plans. Also, if the site you built requires the use of plugins, you would need a Business or eCommerce plan to access plugins for sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

  A Business plan would also allow you to use the “import everything” option that Business sites have access to which will make the migration even easier.
