Move "leave a reply" box to top.

I found the code below in the forum. It should move the “leave a reply” box to the top of my page. But I don’t know how to use it. Help!

#comments {position:relative; padding-top:60em;}
.logged-in #comments {padding-top:40em;}
#respond {position:absolute; top:0;}The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Not all themes are created the same, so a CSS solution for one theme may not work for another.
You can add this custom CSS to your site using the CSS Editor in the Appearance → Customize → CSS panel in your blog dashboard. Just copy, paste and save it.
#comments-template { position: relative; padding-top: 60em; } .logged-in #comments-template { padding-top: 20em; } #respond { position: absolute; top: 0; }You will definitely need to experiment with the padding to make sure it works for everyone.
Let me know how it turns out.

That’s awesome. I worked! Is there a way to change the text? Maybe “leave a comment” ?
Thanks SO MUCH!!!

Sure thing! Look at the bottom of https://footcarenursing.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php (Settings > Discussion) for the Comment Form.

Your amazing!!
OK… 2 more things..
I’d like a black bar at the end of each comment thread. And I’d love the right hand column “Recent Comments” “Recent Posts”, etc to have a darker gray background to separate them (visually) from the posts and comments area.
You’re a lifesaver!!!

For the “black bar”, do you mean something like this?
.commentlist > li, .commentlist .children > li { border-bottom: 1px solid #000; }There are a bunch of ways to go for the sidebar. Were you thinking about going in this direction?
#sidebar-primary { background: darkgray; } -
