Move module from side bar into main workspace

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a module called ‘All Class Fields’ in the document sidebar. I would like to be able to edit this module in the main workspace, but I can’t find the way to move it there. I can edit it using the sidebar, but it’s smaller and harder to work with. I know there’s a setting to have it in the main workspace, because I’ve seen other people edit it there.

  • Hi there,

I do not see any sites under your @cberdiansky WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hi,

Thanks for your help! My login for the wordpress site is cberdiansky.

Website is http://www.santaclaraadulted.org, I’m an administrator on the website, not sure how to link the website to my @cberdiansky WordPress.com account. I’m a bit of a beginner.

    Have a great evening,
    Christine

  • Hi Christine,

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums

If this module you refer to is being added via a plugin, it will be better to contact support for that plugin directly instead.
