Move my domain with authorization code?

  Hello,

  I bought a domain at SimpleSite but I can now see that SimpleSite does not have the tools I need to build a website. I want to switch the domain to WordPress (and I tried going through domain mapping but I could not get this to work).

  I contactaed SimpleSite and they gave me the authorization code for my domain – can I through WordPress move my domain (which have the ending .se) to wordpress?

  Thanks for getting in touch.

  While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.

  Thank you for replying. I have contacted SimpleSite and they said that they cannot redirect sites. I tried (and paid) for mapping my domain and I could not get it to work. I then asked SimpleSite how I should do this and their response was that they could not redirect sites.

  Are there anything that can be done with my authorization code?

  You need to update your domain’s name servers at its registrar, Ascio:

  http://who.is/whois/johnochemma.se

  The authorization code is for transferring a domain to another registrar, and, as I previously stated, WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfers.

  Your current registrar should give you the ability to update your domain’s name servers.

  Please try contacting them again:

  http://www.ascio.com/about-us/contact

  Tell them that you need your domain’s name servers changed to the following values:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
