  how do I move my mapped wordpress.com domain to my new wordpress.org site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Any domains which are registered here at WordPress.com can be either pointed at a site which is set up at a third party host and running WordPress.org or it can be transferred to most other hosts.

  To just point the domain, you can follow these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

  To transfer the domain, it is a bit more involved, but we have instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  If however the domain is just mapped to WordPress.com, you will need to go to where your domain is registered and either change your nameservers or transfer it from there. You can use a Whois search to find out where your domain is registered (I personally use http://who.is for such things).
