Move search box widget to header area/ site navigation

  Hi support team,
  Could you please help me figure out how to put the search box widget (located in footer) to header area, more specifically below the site navigation menu?

  Hi there:

  It looks like you opened two separate threads for two similar questions. I’ve merged them and will answer both here.

  In your theme, moving items from the footer to the header would require code modifications of your theme files, which isn’t possible on the WordPress.com Premium plan.

  You would need to keep the links in the footer or look for other theme options that may have a sidebar where you can add those items in the order you choose or more header options than the theme you’re using now.

  WordPress.com Business and eCommerce plans would allow you to make those theme file modifications. You can see what other features are included in these two plans here:
