Hey all, i’m new to bloggin in general and hope this is recieved well…

i started with using blogger, but was fed up with it so i came here. However Blogger had something awesome that i cannot seem to work out here and really do want in order to mkae my blog better.

I have chosen the theme “dusk” and do want to keep it.
As in blogger, i want to be able to create multiple bars for widgets and to be able to move them to the top or bottum or which side i want in the standard page…

can i do this on the site?

can i do this if i download wordpress and use that?

I want it to be pretty easy because i don’t know any html code or other scripting language…

    THANK YOU!!!

No, in free wordpress.com blogs you cannot alter the design of the themes (except changing the header image in some of them, or the colors in very few of them). You can only add whatever widgets you want, but the sidebar or sidebars (or bottombar) stay where they are.

You can change the order of your widgets by dragging them (in Design > Widgets).

You can download WordPress software from WordPress.org and redesign a theme however you like, provided the original designer allows adaptations, but it is NOT easy. You will certainly have to learn sophisticated coding in order to do that.
