Move sidebar down

  I like the sidebar on my new page theme selection, but would like to have the top of it transparent so when I put a banner-like image at the top of my blog the sidebar text won’t be superimposed on the right side of the image. See http://oldswimmer.wordpress.com/the-wish/

  I have tried to put a blank widget on top as a spacer,and also put minimal content in a text block, but it doesn’t do the trick.
