    Hi there,
Your website thecranberrycupboards.wordpress.com is hosted with WordPress.com now. Where are you trying to move your site to?

    Hi @deborah3077

Yes! you can bring your site here with your content so you don’t have to start over, you can follow this guide to do so
    https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

If you are moving here from a self-hosted installation of WordPress, you can actually migrate everything here, your content, themes and plugins, but you’ll need a business or eCommerce plan.

But even if you are coming from another blog site, or if you don’t have a paid plan, you can follow the instructions to import your content to your new blog here at WordPress.com

    Best of lucks 👍!

I am trying to move my site I have built with my products from shift4 shop, they used to be called 3Dcart .

Ohhh! Okay, it’s a bit different to migrate a store.
You will need to have an eCommerce plan (maybe a Business plan with WooCommerce would suffice), and then migrate your data from shift4shop to your new WooCommerce store.

I’m not sure if it’s possible to migrate your products, clients and other information manually, but I found some paid extensions that offer to do the migration for you, there is Next-cart and LitExtension

Check out these videos with simplified information on how it works:

Because you actually need help with WooCommerce rather than WordPress.com you could get better help directly in their forums

  • Hi there,

Shift4Shop is a completely separate CMS (content management system) like WordPress, so migrating your entire site won’t be possible as the theme and settings you have available over there aren’t compatible with WordPress.

So you’ll need to create a new WordPress.com site on our Business or eCommerce plan, select a WordPress theme to use, and install WooCommerce first (if you go with the eCommerce plan WooCommerce will be installed automatically).

It looks like Shift4Shop does offer the option to create CSV exports of your products, orders, and customer data:

    https://support.3dcart.com/search.html?k=export

You might be able to import the products to WooCommerce using its built-in CSV importer:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

WooCommerce also has a paid CSV importer add-on that gives some more options:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/product-csv-import-suite

And to import your order and customer data you can use this add-on:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/customerorder-csv-import-suite/

With all of those you might need to make some modifications to the CSV file you get from Shift4Shop to make the data compatible with WooCommerce – please check the WooCommerce documentation in that regard.

You can look at third-party migration plugins like @cuellin suggested above as well, but we have no control over how those work, and won’t be able to help you with the process if you use those. If you use the built-in WooCommerce importer or the WooCommerce.com add-ons, live chat support (included in the Business and eCommerce Plans) will be able to help you should you run into trouble with the process.

I can’t find any details in the Shift4Shop documentation on exporting any static pages you might have on your site with them, so if you do have pages you might need to copy-paste the content of those manually into new pages on your WordPress.com site.
