Move Subscribers from WordPress.com to Self-Hosted WordPress.org
-
I have enabled Jetpack on my new site, connected it to WordPress.com, and created a post on my old blog notifying my readers that http://www.curiocabin.wordpress.com has moved to http://www.curiocabin.com.
According to the forums I read, the next step is to ask one of you to move my subscribers over to the self-hosted site.
Please let me know if you can help.
Many thanks!

Hi there,
Staff can do this for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. -
Happy to transfer these subscribers for you.
Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site. The notice you posted on the old site should help with that.
Can you please reply back if you have any questions or let me know if you would like to go ahead and move your subscribers?

Just started this process. It will take a short while to finish up and then the subscribers will be on your new site.
