Move Subscribers to New Site
-
Hi, I am switching to Bluehost, and I need to transfer my current subscribers over when I make the move. How do I go about doing this?
Here’s my site. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Install the JetPack Plug-in and do what ever configuration it requires – then post back in the forum that you need the subscribers transfered – the staff will then move the subscribers for you
-
I can’t figure out how to install jetpack. I thought plugins only worked for wordpress.org?
-
If you are moving to Blue Host for your hosting (moving your blog from WordPress.COM to Blue Host) – you will need to install WordPress.ORG software at Blue Host to run your blog. Then you have the part about moving your content (export from here – import there) (also making the new blog look like you want it – remember all the CSS stuff you did here? – start over at new host) from here to your new host.
yes Plug-ins are only for WordPress.ORG installs.
Am I answering the correct question?

Okay, I’m sorry, I misunderstood you. Yes, I’m moving to Bluehost. I’m not sure how to install jetpack there either though.

Jetpack can be installed a couple of ways – might be bundled with the .ORG software (but some things I saw in the forum says probably not) – from the Dashboard or using FTP – then a bit of configuration – lost you yet? :)
The instructions are over at http://wordpress.org/support/ – if you want to ask questions in the forum there you will need to open a new account since they are related to but not connected with WordPress.COM
.ORG is the keeper of the WordPress software – they don’t do hosting

I have transferred your subscribers as requested.

A few thoughts on your site
Just visited your site and a lot of Posts on the front page – full Posts that made the front page load slowly – in my opinion – much better to use the “More Tag” on the Posts so the whole Post does not need to load – if you still want to have the full Post for the top one or two – then maybe at the #3 Post is start putting in the More Tag for it and in for all the Posts below – that also makes it much easier for new visitors to page down and see what each Post is about – then they can click on and view the ones that are most interesting

Yes, I’ve gone back and forth about that in the past, and I think it is something I will implement once my new site is officially up. Thank you for the suggestion!

They’ll be listed near the bottom-left corner of Jetpack -> Site Stats in your blog’s Dashboard.
