Move to free domain?

  Hello.

  My website is currently hosted at wordpress.com, but I’m moving this domain to another server where I’ll be working on a new site design.

  While I do that work, I would like to redirect traffic to the old site.

  In short, what will happen to my wordpress website when the domain transfers away? Will it revert to a free one that I can redirect to, or will I lose everything?

  It’ll revert to the free one, so long as you set it as your primary domain, once the transfer goes through. :)
