Move to WordPress

  I own http://www.jeffcircle.com and have had hosting services provided by LowestHosting.com for the past 12 years. I am considering moving my domain to WordPress, but I’m not sure how it all works with email. For now what I am looking for is to retain my email accounts with jeffcircle.com, but I can’t see where I have access to those settings. I do not need a lot of website hosting at this time, but I will later in 2017, so the jeffcircle.wordpress.com webpage is fine for now. Can you help me with this transition? Thanks, Jeff

  Hi Jeff –

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What happens here at WordPress.com is a bit different from the self hosted version of WordPress.

  If your email is through your host you’d follow these instructions to connect it to the WordPress.com site: http://support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-other-email/
