Move wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  Hi,
  we want to move our blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. I already found this page about the topic: https://move.wordpress.com

  Does this mean that if we use the “Guided Transfer” not only all content will be transferred but also the overall design won´t change? Basically: the front end will look exactly the same & we have the same functions like before?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello, you are right, your content should move over with your site. An exception would be if you have paid for a theme through WordPress.com, then you would run into difficulties, but for the most part it should be an easy transfer and you are right, everything should function and look the same.
