move wp site to a hosting server

  Hi, is there a way to move my current wordpress site to a different server? I don’t want to do a clean wp install in the hosting server. maybe I can install wp in the hosting server, create a my sql db and the link it to my existing wp site. is that possible?

  You mean exporting your blog to a self hosted wordpress without losing your stats right? I did it for my blog.
  You need to install wp on the hosting and domain first, then export and download the backup file from your existing blog. Import the file into your new blog. Fix any broken links. That’s all
