Moveable Type Import

  So my hosting provider since 2001 has decided to kick my little rarely updated blog into the street, I’m trying to use the import tool and despite the fact that the “File Upload” has registered successfully, all my old posts are no where to be found.

  What kind of a file am I supposed to be uploading? and what should be in there?

  At this point all I’m really working with is the SQL database.

  ….I’d guess xml. But don’t take my word for it ;-)

  Ok. So at this point I’ve figured out that I’ll have to convert the mySQL database to XML which can be done via a yet to be selected converter (but there seem to be many available)

  Sigh… any suggestions or better yet anyone willing and able to help me rebuild my site for cash. Let me know.
