Moved Domain and Hosting to WP.com

    I just completed redirecting the whitemtartist.com domain and hosting from Wesite_Palace to WP.com because I had created the website on PW and with the automatic upgrades I could not longer Publish or upgrade my 4.0.5 version to 4.2.4 with a quick upgrade command. I am not into coding and I could not see myself getting through a manual upgrade process. after reading many pages in WP.org.
    I figured I might be able to move the Domain, Hosting and all to WP.com and maybe the website might survive. I even bought a premium plan on WP.com. I am currently waiting to see what happened to the website. I either destroyed it or saved myself a lot of headaches trying to use code. to upgrade it or do add-ons Anyone know what is going to happen? I did not save the files in of the whitemtartist.com/pictures webpage so there is no going back.

    Hi David,

    Were you able to obtain a backup of your posts? It can easily be done by going into Tools > Export.

    Export process will give you a file (an XML file), which you can upload here at WordPress.com to get all your posts back.

    If you don’t have it, can you possibly ask your previous host if they have a backup of your blog and can somehow help you in getting a backup of your posts?
