Moved my domain to wp.org, can I make the free domain primary?

  I have recently moved my bought domain over to a web host for use with wordpress.org. I would want to use my free domain at wordpress.com as a separate blog. If I make my free domain primary now, what happens?

  I’m afraid all content that was originally posted on .com and is now moved to .org might be compromised?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Does anybody know the answer?
  Don’t want to frustrate all links of posts I made originally on wordpress.com and that now are on my self hosted site!
