Moved site from self hosted – how to get images working?

  I’ve been self hosting my WordPress site until this year when I had to change hosts. I’d saved my site & so was able to recover all the posts in a new WordPress.com site. However. all the images (200 or so) are all still referencing to the old site so aren’t showing now. Is there a quick fix for this or am I going to have to spend months revising every post with new ones?

  I’d really hoped someone could shed some light on this as I can’t imagine I’m the only one to have experienced the problem? If I need to clarify any point please say.
