Moved Site – Images Not Showing

  I’m 3 days old with WordPress so excuse the jagged edges. That new and I’ve moved the site from a subdirectory to a new domain’s root directory. All is well, almost. The only snafu is the images aren’t showing. Even when I upload the image with a new name, it’s not showing. I’d appreciate any help with this, please?

  The caption and border shows but nothing else. Thanks for the help.

  I’m experiencing a similar problem while editing the CSS, no image will show up. I was freaking out cause I am new to WordPress but seeing that you are having the same problem then it might be something to do with WordPress today.

  I’ve discovered ckforms II isn’t working properly either with a new form. The one that was on the site before I moved it to a new domain was affected at all, it works. Trying to insert code into a post for ckforms isn’t working. That part. I’ve created the form. I somehow feel this may be connected to the images not showing??? Not sure at all. I try to do this stuff logically as I’m no techie.

  Any help is greatly received.

  No worries. Bad news though: you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG instead. There are two different kinds of WordPress and they are quite different. We won’t be able to help you, as we don’t have that kind of access to the guts of our blogs.

  Answer sorta found at .org. I still had the old site up. I didn’t have the images in the correct folder. They were dispersed all over the place but not the proper place. They should have been for me, in wp-content/uploads/2009/09.

  That’s how I had it setup.
