Moved to a new addr (within) WordPress.com but now I'm not visible in Search

Hi all,
Moved to a new addr (within) WordPress.com but now I’m not visible in Search. Would like to move back to the old wordpress.com, is this possible and do I get back from google search history?
Regards,
AnthonyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you delete the old blog URL? IF so, you’re stuck. New URLs mean that there are no links going to that blog, so it’s like a brand new one to search engines. It’s going to take some time to get visible again.

Well, the OLD blog still has all the googlejuice it had. The new blog is new, you will have to blog at it and attract incoming links in order to gain search rank. I wish staff would warn people about this. It will take weeks at a minimum to get back to where you were in search.

The old one is where it always was in search terms. The new one is at zero. Decide which you want for the long term and put all your posts in that one. Importing from the higher ranked blog to the lower one does not lift the lower one automatically.

This has been very helpful. Going to revert back my site and keep the new addr as a new site. Thanks much raincoaster.

It should. During the export there are two options: with or without media files. As long as you’ve chosen WITH, they should be imported.

The import media files option shows up during the import. You can say, yes, bring my images over.
