Moved to self hosted blog, redirected, people still able to follow old blog?!

  Hi,

  I recently moved my blog from http://www.roshnimistry.wordpress.com to http://www.roshnimistry.com. I set up a redirect from the old blog to the new, which seems to work ok. But I keep getting notifications to say that people have followed my OLD blog.

  I have no idea how they are able to follow the old blog if there’s a redirect set up, and even if they are, how do I fix it?!

  They may be find your old posts in the tag/topic search in the reader. I would just request a user migration after the notifications start to taper off (which they will).

  Ah ok thank you.

  I already did a follower migration straight after I set up my self hosted address, so do I just need to do this again once I stop getting notifications?
