moved to self-hosted…Redirecting traffic from individual posts to my new site?
-
I transferred all of my posts onto my new self-hosted blog. I purchased the redirect, which words if you go to my home page of my former site. However, if you go to a link for a certain post at my old wordpress.com site, it says it is no longer available. I wouldn’t have purchased the redirect traffic upgrade if I knew it only worked for the HOME page. UGH!! Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The permalink (URL) structure on your new site is different than here. Go to settings > permalink and choose “Day and name” for the permalink structure and then save.
I should note that you need to make sure that the .htaccess file is set up correctly with mod_rewrite active. If it isn’t, and you choose “day and name” it can break your site.

I should say it doesn’t permanently break your site, only till the mod_rewrite is configured.
